As many of you are aware, we lost an amazing musician and wonderful loving, caring humble human being recently. My little brother Gino Matteo was like family (he called me sis). His incredible heart and talent always shined through and I'm devastated as I know you all are and heartbroken that he's passed. Ginos Mom Maria took Gino everywhere as a young boy so he could hone his skills from some of the best such as Joey Delgado and Chris Cain. If he wasnt old enough to go into the clubs, momma Matteo brought folding chairs and they sat directly outside so he could listen and join in. Gino was born with a musical gift of synesthesia which allowed him to experience music in a unique way. Some Synesthetes might see colors, shapes or textures when they hear music or feel emotions or sensations associated with specific musical notes or chords. This made him even more special.
