I’m raising funds to support a close friend in Northern Washington who is currently in a brief but challenging transition period between jobs and permanent housing.

Right now, I am actively helping them apply for positions and secure in-person interviews, which means they urgently need updated, interview-appropriate clothing. They are qualified and motivated, and the interviews are happening—but they need the basic resources to show up with confidence.

In addition, they need help covering essentials like cat food, as their pet is their primary source of comfort and emotional support during this unstable time.

I have been assisting financially where I can, including helping with temporary housing costs while they wait for their housing voucher, which is expected to arrive very soon (any day now). However, my spouse was just laid off, and our ability to continue covering these costs has suddenly become limited.

This fundraiser is meant to bridge a very short gap—to help ensure my friend remains housed, fed (including their cat), and able to attend interviews until the voucher arrives and employment is secured.
