Please help Francyn's family during these challenging times. Funds will go to Francyn's family and will help with funeral costs and support.
Francyn was born on the 13th of January 1971 and raised in San Jose, CA. She was the eldest of three siblings. In her childhood, the family enjoyed frequent summer visits to her parents, Jose and Maria Manzo, hometown in Michoacán, Mexico. Francyn’s favorite past times were enjoying authentic Mexican food and spending time with her family in the beautiful outdoors.
High school was a major stepping stone in her life where she became passionate about athletics and education. As an All-Star student-athlete in basketball and track, she broke several high school athletic records while maintaining a GPA of 3.8. Notably, her doubles tennis team was selected to participate in the Junior Olympics in Beijing but unfortunately could not attend due to the US boycott back in the 80s. She always felt at home hearing the squeaks of tennis shoes on the gym floors.
Francyn graduated in 1995 from UCLA with a BA degree in Political Science and later went to earn a Master of Business Administration at the University of Phoenix. Although she loved working in the Human Resources field and Accounting, her favorite job was being a mom.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years and her two young-adult children, Christofer 19 and Alysa 18. She will be missed, but her love for Christ, friends, and family will live on in all the hearts she touched.
