Support for Fire Chief Bobby Anderson

At approximately 11:55 PM, while returning to the station from a Logan County task force response to assist the victims of the Enid tornado, Fire Chief Bobby Anderson and his crew were involved in a devastating accident. The fire truck, Quint 7, was struck head-on by a semi truck and then subsequently hit by another vehicle. Chief Anderson, Assistant Chief Orndorff, Captain Bartels, and Firefighter Abrams were all on board. Both chiefs were transported to Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. While Assistant Chief Orndorff has since been released, Chief Anderson remains hospitalized. Captain Bartels and Firefighter Abrams received minor injuries and are being checked today as a precaution. The fire truck, Q7, is a total loss.

Chief Anderson will miss a substantial amount of time from work as he recovers from his injuries. During this time, he and his family will need help paying their bills and maintaining stability. Bobby is a lifelong firefighter who has served his community for over 30 years, always putting others first. Now, as he faces a long road to recovery, he needs the support of the community he has dedicated his life to serving.

Please consider supporting Bobby and his family during this difficult time. Your generosity will make a real difference as they face the challenges ahead. Every donation, no matter the size, will help provide the support and hope they need right now.
