Our community has been shocked by the sudden death of Maudia Marie. Maudia passed away on Sunday, January 9 of multiple organ failure after a short illness. Maudia was beloved by many and she will be missed sorely by all of us. Her children, Finn and Isla, are equally beloved in our community and will need all the support they can get in the coming years.

 

This GoFundMe will go into a trust in which Finn and Isla are the beneficiaries. The trust is in the process of being established right now.

Per GoFundMe policy stating my relationship to recipients: Maudia was a friend, and one of first people I met when my family moved to Port Townsend 8 years ago. Our children have gone to school together since Kindergarten. The goal for this fundraiser is to ensure that while that Finn and Isla's lives have been changed forever, finances will not be another thing they need to worry about.
