Hi, my name is Kelly Toporek. Our family suffered a devastating loss on the eve of July 29th as a fire tore through the home of our niece, Felicia Toporek, of Lackawanna, NY. Felicia and three of her four children were trapped in an upstairs bedroom. Felicia was able to break a window and get her five-year-old daughter out of the house and onto the roof. She used her body to shield her 2-month-old baby, saving her life. Unfortunately, Felicia was overcome by the smoke and flames, and she and 4-year-old Audrey lost their lives. Felicia saved her daughters and later became an organ donor, saving more lives. Please help us raise funds for Felicia’s daughters as they have not only lost their mother and sister, but the house was a loss as well as all of their belongings. All funds received will be for assisting with the funeral expenses and supporting the 3 living daughters and will be given to their maternal grandmother, Pricilla Mooney

Good morning I want to thank everyone for their generous donations of money, clothes, diapers and toys. Both Ashlyn and Vivian are out of the hospital and doing well. They are currently living with Felicia’s parents along with Angelica! All donations will be forwarded to Priscilla to help with the needs of the girls and to pay for the funeral costs for Felicia and Audrey.
