Support for Farmer Cody Wickerham
Donation protected
On the evening of June 3rd, farmer Cody Wickerham was driving his tractor to a friend's farm after mowing hay when he was hit by a car. Cody's tractor was totaled. His injuries consist of broken ribs and sternum, bleeding in the brain, and skull fractures. Thankfully, he has been moved out of the ICU and is expected to heal over time -- but he faces a long road to recovery.
We are raising funds to help Cody cover his medical costs and living expenses as he will be unable to work during his recuperation. In addition, Cody and his girlfriend Morgan are expecting their first child in August and will need help and resources for this new phase of their lives.
Cody lives in Waterloo, Indiana and has raised pigs for 12 years, the last three on a small farrow to finish farm for Niman Ranch. When Cody was growing up, he always enjoyed going to his grandparents' farm and helping out.
Thank you for your generosity and prayers.
