Support for Family Overcoming Loss and Eviction

I’m a single mother of two amazing girls. We recently lost a service dog who was more than just a family member. We still have another service dog that has helped so much in our time of grief. During this time, I also lost an amazing grandmother and fell into a deep depression. I lost my car and ability to work, so I fell behind on bills and became overwhelmed with everything falling apart.

When I didn’t talk to our apartment manager about our situation, they evicted us. I do have a boyfriend who was helping with bills, but he unfortunately got hurt at work and the state is taking too long to cover the loss of working. That’s why we’ve been staying at motels with the help of friends and the school. Without their help, I know our situation would be far worse. Sadly, that help can only go so far.

So, I’m looking to the community, if you are able to please help my family get back on our feet and we don’t lose our only possessions. The apartments that evicted us won’t let us have access to them without a third party and we don’t have anywhere to move them to. This is by far the lowest I’ve been in with my children and it’s breaking my heart for them. A little can go a long way for our family and it won’t be wasted giving my girls a home they deserve.
