Josh passed away unexpectedly one day before his 40th birthday, leaving behind his young wife Emily and two year old son Ollie. We don’t know how or why he died yet, and we are heart broken and grieving, but most of all we are worried for Emily.

Josh made an impact on countless people’s lives, as a lawyer, aggressively fighting for the most vulnerable in the community, but he also fiercely supported and protected the people he loved, which if you knew Josh, means everyone.

Josh was that friend who was the first one to show up to celebrate or give you a shoulder to cry on. He was the friend that loved his wife and son truly to the ‘moon and back’.

He was well known for his legendary Penn State tailgates where you could find him every Saturday in the fall. Penn State just lost their biggest and most committed fan.


Unfortunately, Josh did not have life insurance.  Now, Emily has to financially support and care for her family alone, a stress of which we cannot imagine.  We’d like to remove any or all of that burden if possible, so Emily can focus on Ollie, a place to live, and creating a new life for herself and Ollie without Josh by her side.
