Our close friends - Emily, Ryan, and their dogs Robi and Oslo experienced a life-changing event when a large tree unexpectedly crashed onto their home and vehicles during severe weather. The impact caused extensive damage, leaving their house unsafe to live in and resulting in both vehicles being heavily damaged.

After inspection, the city has deemed their home uninhabitable, forcing them to find temporary housing while they navigate the long process of rebuilding. In an instant, they lost the comfort and security of their home and now face unexpected expenses that continue to grow each day.

While insurance may help with some of the rebuilding costs, there are many immediate financial burdens that aren’t fully covered. Temporary housing, transportation, daily living expenses, deductibles, and other unexpected costs are creating significant stress during an already overwhelming time.

Emily and Ryan are hardworking people who would never ask for help unless they truly needed it. We are hoping to ease some of the financial burden so they can focus on getting back on their feet and rebuilding their lives.
