Hi Everyone,
My name is Valensia Ng. I’m reaching out to ask for your help for my dear friend, Elsa Djoenaidi (38). She is a beautiful soul – a loving wife to Andre Sidharta (38) and an amazing mom to their two young boys, Tobias (6) and Isaac (2).
In early 2024, Elsa received the heartbreaking diagnosis of breast cancer after discovering a lump in her left breast. At that time, she had just given birth to Isaac. Tragically, because she needed to start chemotherapy right away, Elsa had to stop breastfeeding him when he was only six months old.
Elsa’s cancer has been aggressive from the start. She described the tumor growing rapidly – like a Tennis Ball , in her words. Despite her incredible strength and resilience, the cancer continued to spread. It started in her breast, then spread to her lungs, and later doctors found it in her brain. From there, it spread to her bones.
She has gone through so many rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, and has had to take steroids to reduce brain swelling. She has endured countless MRIs, each time hoping for better news, only to find out the cancer had spread from one location to another. It has been bad news after bad news, but she never gave up.
In May, Elsa went through 10 rounds of radiation to her brain to try to slow the cancer down. Today, Elsa is fighting her hardest battle yet. She has been experiencing multiple seizures ,is too weak to walk, unable to eat, and can no longer talk properly. Seeing her in this condition is heartbreaking for everyone who knows and loves her.
Even through all of this, Elsa has remained the vibrant, warm-hearted woman we all know and love. Her smile lights up every room, and her love for yoga and life has always inspired everyone around her. She has fought this battle with so much strength and grace, driven by her deepest wish – to be here for her kids and watch them grow.
What touches me deeply is that even while going through treatments and battling cancer, Elsa continued working. Her biggest worry was never herself – it was always her family. She kept working just to make sure they were taken care of, no matter how hard it was for her.
But now, Elsa and her family urgently need our help.
The emotional, physical, and financial toll of this journey is enormous. While her medical expenses are covered, the funds raised will help them with:
* Daily living expenses and bills
* Childcare and support for the kids
* Giving Andre the ability to focus fully on caring for Elsa and their boys without worrying about finances
They are such a hardworking family, but right now they need all the support they can get.
Please consider making a donation to support Elsa and her beautiful family during this incredibly difficult time. Every contribution, no matter the amount, makes a difference.
If you’re unable to donate, you can still help by sharing this page with your network. Spreading the word truly means the world to them.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for keeping Elsa, Andre, Tobias, and Isaac in your thoughts and prayers. Your support gives them hope and strength during this unimaginable journey.
