As some of you may already know, on August 30th, our parents were supposed to be back in New York after a lovely vacation with family in Austria. Unfortunately, while at the airport in Munich, Germany, our mom was involved in an accident and suffered a serious head injury, which resulted in emergency surgery and a 30-day stay in intensive care. She was recently released from the German hospital, recovered further in Austria with family, and she was finally able to safely travel back home just last week on October 11th.
It's been a nightmare, to say the least, but our mom is a fighter and each day since the accident has been a step in the right direction - we couldn't be luckier(!!) but there's still a long road ahead. Our family has recieved a ton of love, support, and prayers over the last number of weeks, which have certainly contributed to her recovery, and all we can say is thank you!!
We are setting up this page because our parents are about to recieve a large sum of medical bills and we want to do whatever we can to help with this already stressful situation. Thank you all so much for your continued support!!
