Support for Dwight Johnson's Family

Many of you have already heard the heartbreaking news of the sudden and tragic loss of Dwight Johnson, a beloved husband, father, and friend whose life was a testament to his unwavering faith and selflessness. Dwight touched countless lives, whether through a heartfelt conversation, a word of encouragement, or simply by living as a genuine Christian in everything he did. Many of you may know him from his time running Camp Dwight in Bend, Oregon, where his kindness and faith left a lasting impact on so many.

On Saturday, Dwight was working on a project with a few of his sons when a tragic accident took his life. He passed away instantly despite the heroic efforts to save him. The loss has left all of us in shock and heartbreak.

Marilee and the kids are navigating an unimaginable loss, and as their friends, we want to do all we can to support them. Many people have reached out asking how they can help. Dwight was one of the most faithful, selfless, and generous people we’ve ever known, and his absence is deeply felt. While his passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, his legacy lives on through his family and everyone whose lives he touched.
