The Irwin family is facing a very difficult time right now. Their oldest son, Dustin, is just 10 years old and is a loving big brother to his four younger siblings. Dustin is a dedicated football player, soccer player, and talented wrestler.
Things took a turn for the worst Friday, he was brought into the ER for vomiting and a very bad headache. They found a large tumor in his brain. He has already undergone emergency surgery to place an EVD to remove fluid and relieve pressure in his brain. He will be having another surgery Monday the 29th to have the tumor removed.
They are trying to process this sudden and life-changing situation.
Dustin’s parents have always been active in the community, supporting their children’s activities and bringing people together. The football team and local friends have already started to rally around the Irwins, with parents making shirts to show their support at games. But the family is now facing a wave of unexpected expenses—travel to and from the hospital, meals away from home, medical bills, and the costs of Dustin’s treatment. With both parents focused on caring for Dustin and their other children, they need extra help to get through this challenging time.
This fundraiser was created by friends and supporters who want to make sure the Irwin family can focus on Dustin’s recovery without the added stress of financial worries. Every donation will go directly toward helping with travel, food, bills, and treatment costs. Your support will make a real difference for Dustin and his family as they face the road ahead together.
