Hi, My name is Laura Furlan. On Saturday, January 15, my little brother Doug died in a car accident in Colorado Springs. He leaves behind a loving wife, Nicole, and two kids, Abby (14) and Tommy (7). Doug was a proud Army veteran. He served with the 4th Infantry Division stationed at Fort Carson, and he later did a tour in Iraq. He was truly larger-than-life. Doug loved to talk. He loved the Chicago Bears and the Blackhawks and Pearl Jam and Star Wars (especially Boba Fett) and baking pies. He loved his dogs. He was a great son and a fun uncle. He will be missed by his many friends and co-workers and relatives.
