Support for Dori and Her Family

As many of you may have heard through the prayer chain, our sweet friends Kelly and Rhett’s daughter Dori suffered a tragic accident last night and is now in critical condition. Dori’s sweet smile and her love for running around outside barefoot have captured the hearts of everyone who has met her. She brings so much joy to her family and friends, and her spirit is truly special.

Currently, Dori and her family are needing all of your prayers and support. Kelly and Rhett are spending every moment by Dori’s side, facing the uncertainty of each day with incredible strength and love. The emotional toll is immense, and they are also dealing with mounting medical bills, travel expenses, and lost income as they focus on Dori’s care. We are setting up this fundraiser to allow friends and family to donate and help ease some of these burdens. Even if you cannot financially support this family, your prayers would mean the world to them. Your kindness and generosity will help Kelly, Rhett, and Dori as they navigate this difficult time and hold onto hope for her healing.

Update: As of September 1 evening Dori and her parents need some special prayers right now. There is currently no brain activity and decisions will be made in the morning. Please lift Kelly, Rhett, Dori and all their family up in prayers as this next 24 hours will be especially trying! Thank you!

Update: September 2 The plan is to take Dori off of sedation to check for brain activity one more time. They will then wait 12 hours after which decisions will be made regarding life support. Update: September 3

Dori remains in critical condition. The plan is to test brain activity tonight and tomorrow. The most difficult decisions will be made if there is no activity seen.
