Support for Don's Family After His Tragic Passing

As many of you know, our brother, Don, passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2024, from a heart attack. He leaves behind his loving wife, Deanne, and their 14-year-old son, Caden.

Don’s passing has left an unimaginable void in their hearts and lives. As the primary breadwinner, his loss also brings financial uncertainty during an already overwhelming time. While Deanne and Caden try to navigate life without their husband and father, we want to help ease the financial burden they now face. In addition to everyday expenses, they will need support for Caden’s education and future.

Don had a huge heart, and his warmth and kindness were felt by everyone who knew him. At his funeral, we heard countless stories from friends, family, and colleagues about the many lives he touched in his short time on Earth. Don was truly loved by so many, and his impact will never be forgotten.

He had a long, meaningful career as a nurse, first working with premature babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and more recently as a General Surgical nurse. Don’s compassion and dedication to caring for others defined both his personal and professional life, and his absence will be felt by many.

This request is made on behalf of Don’s three sisters; Becky Lopez, Michelle Garver, and Stephanie Snyder. We are reaching out to our family, friends, and community for help. We are doing everything we can to support Deanne and Caden through this incredibly difficult time, but we know that together, we can do so much more.
