Donna Coughlan is one of the kindest and loveliest people I know. She runs the Allies for Alley Catz Rescue in Kincardine from her home and many of us in the community know how hard she works to take care of the animals and find them loving homes. Donna has had a really dreadful fall; she has a broken arm that may need surgery and she was immediately air-lifted to London when a scan showed bleeds in her brain from the fall. She also lost a lot of blood from her head wound before a friend got her to hospital. Donna has been fighting a persistent viral infection for weeks now and this awful accident is another huge medical problem for her.

Please keep Donna in your thoughts and prayers but we need to do more – we need to give her some financial support and relieve her of the worries she will have as she faces a long recuperation. Donna does not have sick days with her job, if she isn't at work she doesn't get paid. Her salary supports the rescue – if there are shortfalls in donations she buys what is needed. There are many cats and kittens who will need to be fed and taken care of.  I hope we can raise a substantial amount that will relieve Donna of financial worries while she recuperates and which will give support to the rescue over the winter so she doesn't have to worry about that too.   Please donate to this Gofundme campaign and help someone who deserves all of the help we, as a community, can give.
