Support for DJ Pirata (Vicente)

About a year and a half ago, our dear friend, amazing DJ, and fabulous dancer, Vicente Sandoval, was detained by ICE. They picked him up because they were looking for another Vicente, but the mistaken identity didn't stop ICE from holding him for several weeks in a detention facility in Pennsylvania.
Due to your amazing support, he was able to be bailed out, with a court date pending. We tried to fight his deportation. He was told, despite being days shy of being grandfathered into an old law that would have granted him papers, despite being a tax-paying, community supporting, fabulous person, despite the mistaken identity, that he was NOT going to be allowed to stay in this country of immigrants.
It is with breaking hearts that we have to say goodbye to Vicente, as he prepares to leave for Mexico by the end of the month.
We would like to help him out a little. The significant legal fees, and the loss of income during the legal fight, as well as the uncertainty of finding a job in Mexico, all add up to a lot of expenses. We hosted a fundraiser this past Saturday at Los Sabrosos Dance Co., where we raised several hundred dollars. Several of you couldn't make it and asked us to create this fundraiser.
