Support for David Macey’s children; Quest and Essence.

My name is Bryan Macey. I am Dave Macey’s biological brother. It is with great sadness that I write this out on behalf of Dave, Quest, and Essence.

Tragically last week on July 4th at approximately 4:30 p.m. David passed away in Kelowna, BC. During his last moments, his bedside was filled with his children, family, relatives and loved ones. He does not suffer anymore, God Bless his soul. Words cannot express how much Dave will be missed by family and friends.

Most memorable his smile, unique laugh, and limitless love and compassion for others. Dave has had a great impact on many lives throughout his lifetime. He was always looking out for others and would give you the shirt off of his back and expect nothing in return. He loved his kids; Quest and Essence unconditionally. They were his pride and joy. In Dave’s absence, this leaves a huge gap in Quest and Essences lives’, especially financially. I made a promise to my brother before his final moments that I would protect and care for his children as he once did for me.

We are aiming to raise $10,000 to ensure that Quest and Essence are supported through this difficult time now and into the future. This GoFundMe is set up and supported by Blair and Susan Macey, Dave’s parents. In addition to myself, Bryan Macey, his brother. All money donated to this GoFundMe page will be responsibly allocated by the above-mentioned people in trust directly to or for Quest and Essence Macey.

Any donation will be greatly appreciated. The family is currently working on a ‘Celebration Of Life’ around the end of the month. A specific date will be provided as soon as possible.
