Hi, my name is Darcie Venable and in the early morning hours of January 28th, I got a phone call nobody ever wants while they are at work. My mom called me in a panic saying my house was on fire! Luckily, she was able to get herself and both of my daughters out unharmed, and thankfully, the firefighters rescued my dogs!

We have been completely displaced from our home and are currently on day 3 in a hotel. I have contacted my insurance, but it could be a couple of weeks before they even send an adjuster out. Based on the pictures I sent them, they said it will be a minimum of 6 months. My parents went through this when I was my girls' age, and realistically, it was closer to a year!

I'm 27 weeks pregnant with a baby boy on the way. I have my 5-year-old daughter, Kinsley, and my 7-year-old daughter, Lilly, as well as my disabled mom, who I take care of in every way completely by myself. No financial help. Right now, anything helps. We have to buy all new clothes, shoes, toiletries, etc. At this time, the insurance company doesn't want anyone back in the house until they can make it out. We are in a hotel room that only has a mini fridge and a microwave. Thank you for all the support, prayers, and help in any way.
