For those who have had the pleasure of knowing Darla Weirick, can attest to what a wonderful woman she is. Darla (aka Dar) is a smart, witty and loving woman with more personality then you could imagine. She is a strong and independent woman that has always marched to the beat of her own drum. Dar has never faced a challenge that she couldn't manage. But the current health challenges that she faces are monumental.

Due to recent health complications, Dar has received the unimaginable news that she will need to have both of her legs amputated. For a woman as strong and independent as her, this will be life changing.

Dar is lucky enough to have her son and caregiver Jacob and daughter Aliya to support her during this very challenging time but the loss of work, limited benefits, travel, and the cost of caregiving for Dar will put an immense pressure on her family.
