Hello, thank you for taking the time to read about our cause. We are in an effort to raise funds for my father who is currently in a rehab/ nursing home. He has been suffering from cognitive decline for some time and on July 13th, he fell down a flight of stairs trying to get into his home which caused him to have a traumatic brain injury. He was admitted into the hospital and we were told that he has a white matter brain disease that has no treatment options. He is currently in a wheelchair and has very limited ability do things on his own. My dad has always been an active person who loves being outdoors. His and our biggest goal is to strengthen him enough so that he can be in the comfort of his own home. However, because of the flight of stairs to access his home, he will not be able to return to that place of residence. My dad is the primary financial provider of his family and because of his condition, it is causing financial hardship on the family.
