Hello, my name is Corey Brown, and I’m reaching out during an extremely difficult and unexpected time for my family.

On January 22 2026, our family experienced a devastating house fire caused by an electrical incident while repairs were being made. The fire resulted in significant damage to our home, and we were forced to evacuate immediately. The property has since been taped off by authorities, and our family is currently displaced and staying in temporary housing.

I am a dialysis patient and rely on regular medical treatments to maintain my health. Being displaced has added an overwhelming layer of stress, as I now have to manage medical care, transportation, and daily needs without access to our home or belongings.

My daughter and grandkids were also directly affected by this fire. She and her children my grandchildren, ages 5 years old and 9 months old lost clothing, personal belongings, toys, and essential items. The sudden displacement has been especially difficult for the children, and our family is doing everything we can to keep them safe, comfortable, and supported during this time.

As we work through insurance claims and recovery efforts, the immediate costs of temporary housing, food, transportation, medical needs, and replacing basic necessities have been overwhelming.
