11/20/25 EDIT: Thanks to everyone's love and support, we have covered the costs of producing the exhibit! Now, every dollar raised will go to Wellspring Women's Center. I am so overcome with gratitude. The goal has been raised to aim for a $1500 donation (with GoFundMe fees).
Beyond excited to announce my first solo art exhibit!
"What They Say of Wounds and Time"
Nurturing my identities as an artist and a psychiatrist has brought me more joy than I can express, and it is an undeniable privilege. Creative practice and mental health care have overlapping financial, cultural, and systemic barriers to entry that are not easily overcome and cannot be downplayed.
I am humbled to be in a position where I can front the costs of the exhibit so it can remain free and open to the public. That said, I would be deeply grateful for any support. Even small contributions go a long way - five dollars can print a piece, and a little more than a dollar can display one.
If donations surpass the production costs ($950 total: $645 venue, $105 insurance, $150 printing, $50 displays), all further funds will be donated to Wellspring Women’s Center. They not only have an art program, but they are also located in Oak Park, the neighborhood where I first called Sacramento home!
Thank you for being part of my becoming! I would not be here without the fierce and unwavering support of my community.
