We are so grateful for everyone who has reached out offering to help support Mallory and Cody. We are creating this page as a central location to gather support for our journey ahead. Funds will go towards housing and daily expenses to stay close to Cody as he fights to recover. Your generosity is such a blessing and there are no words to express how much love and support we are feeling. This is the best way to assist us. Thank you all from the deepest parts of our hearts.

Cody and Mallory have been together for over 17 years, and their love for each other is truly inspirational. Mallory is a 2nd grade Teacher at Jim Pearson Elementary and Cody is employed with Russell Lands. Just three weeks ago, they welcomed their beautiful baby boy, Kellan, into the world and were settling into life as new parents. Everything changed suddenly on Christmas Eve when Cody lost consciousness at home. Mallory acted quickly, calling 911, and Cody was rushed to the hospital. Doctors discovered he had suffered a brain bleed that led to a stroke. He was then airlifted to UAB for specialized care and is now in the neurology ICU, fighting to recover.

This has been a complete shock for their family, especially during what should have been a joyful holiday season. Mallory and baby Kellan are staying in Birmingham to be close to Cody as he begins what may be a long journey of rehab and healing. The emotional and financial strain is immense, and they need help with housing and daily expenses while Cody is in the hospital and during his recovery.

We are all rallying around Cody, Mallory, and Kellan, doing our best to keep spirits high and support them in any way we can.
