My family and I have recently received the news that Christian will be undergoing spinal surgery just before Christmas. After a clinical team meeting on Friday, it was decided that he will be admitted on December 21st, with surgery scheduled for December 23th. While we are grateful and relieved that he is finally getting the operation he needs, the timing has been incredibly difficult for us as a family.

As many of you know, this time of year is already challenging financially, and with Christian’s surgery happening right at Christmas, things have become even more overwhelming. Asking for help is truly the last thing I ever wanted to do, but right now we are in a position where we could really use some support to get through this period.

We are setting up this GoFundMe to help cover the extra costs that will come with Christian’s hospital stay, his recovery, travel expenses, and the financial strain that this timing brings.
