As a family, Cheri, Josh, and Nicholas have lived together after the tragic passing of their beloved Elisabeth, and times have been tough. They got worse on Friday with the passing of Nicholas. We are struggling through it all and have no funds for end-of-life activities nor funds for the support of the family and payment of bills for the family.

Nicholas passed away at Buffalo General Medical Center on Friday, January 16, 2026 after a month long stay there for complications from an infection after reporting back pain.

Over the weeks there were cascading health events but his heart suddenly stopped Friday morning and while they brought him back, he never fully regained consciousness and vitals were unsustainable and the doctors advised us he would pass within a day, which he did.

To honor Nicholas’s wishes as a organ donor, his body was released to ConnectLife knowing that while he is now with us only in memory - he can help others survive in the worst times of their life.

There are no immediate plans for a memorial, one is being planned for the spring. Funds from this fundraiser will be used to cover end of life expenses and to help the family with their expenses while dealing with this horrible event.
