My name is Chadd, and I'm reaching out for help in what has been the most hectic and draining 4 months for my family. Recently, my wife Megan, our 3 year old son Rowan, and I were involved in a car accident that left our only vehicle totaled. Because of financial strains earlier in the year, we could no longer afford car insurance, leaving us with no way to cover the costs of this loss or repair any of the damages.

In addition to this accident, Megan recently underwent major surgery and has been diagnosed with Lupus, which has added emotional and financial hardships for us. I am the sole income provider and it has become overwhelming to keep up with rent, medical bills, and daily expenses, let alone unexpected events like the accident.

Our home is also in urgent need of repairs: The furnace has stopped working just as temperatures are dropping, our hot water heater is broken, and water damage from the water heater has caused additional problems that need fixing. We simply don’t have the resources to cover all these critical repairs, nor can we afford to pay off the remaining car loan without a replacement vehicle.
