Cecilia Ferreira (Vicente) Prytko

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved friend, Cecilia (Vicente) Prytko, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Cecilia touched the lives of everyone she met with her kindness, strength, and unwavering spirit. She was a devoted wife to Chris, and a loving mother to her two children, Karolina and Julian—affectionately known as The Girl and The Boy. Cecilia’s greatest joy was her family, and her love for them was evident in everything she did.

Cecilia also dedicated her life to teaching Computer Science at East Lyme High School, where she inspired countless students with her passion for learning and her ever-present smile. Even in the midst of her fight, Cecilia showed remarkable courage and grace, always greeting the world with positivity and warmth.

She was also deeply devoted to God and a faithful member of St. Joseph’s Church in Rockville, where her faith guided her life and gave her strength through every challenge.

As Cecilia’s family grieves this profound loss, they are also facing the financial burdens that come with medical expenses, funeral costs, and the challenges of moving forward without her.
