Cathy Peters was the heart of our family—always smiling, always ready with a joke, and always making sure everyone felt loved. Even after she lost the ability to walk and needed a wheelchair, her spirit never faded. She was happiest when surrounded by her children and grandchildren, sharing her favorite movies, telling stories, and making everyone laugh. Friday nights at the bowling alley were a tradition she started, bringing all of us—Brooke, Amber, Justice, Aubrey, and me—together for fun, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime. Cathy’s faith was important to her, and she made sure we all knew the comfort and joy of going to church as a family. She truly was an angel on earth, and losing her so suddenly has left a huge hole in our hearts.

At the same time, my mom, Teri Moulton, has been facing her own battle. On her way to see my grandmother in the hospital, she was in a nearly fatal car accident that left her with multiple broken bones and required emergency surgery. She’s always been the most selfless and caring person, putting her family and faith first, so it’s been incredibly hard to watch her struggle to recover while also grieving the loss of her mother. My dad and my older sister have been doing everything they can to help, but the financial burden is overwhelming. Their vehicle was totaled in the accident, and transportation for doctor visits and daily needs has become a major challenge.

We are raising funds to help cover Cathy’s funeral expenses first, and if there is anything left, it will go toward my mom’s hospital bills and recovery needs.
