Support for Caity, Joel and baby Alfie

Hi everyone,

We are reaching out to share the story of our beautiful sister and friend Caity.

During Caity’s pregnancy and two weeks before her scheduled due date in February 2025, she started to experience worrying symptoms. Just days before welcoming her first child, Alfie, Caity underwent extensive scanning and ultimately received a devastating diagnosis of Glioblastoma which is an aggressive and incurable form of brain cancer.

Caity has just turned 39. Life is supposed to be full of first smiles, sleepless nights, and beautiful chaos. Instead, she and her partner Joel are navigating the unimaginable — balancing new parenthood with countless hospital visits, treatments, and the heavy weight of uncertainty.

Glioblastoma is a brutal disease. It grows fast, and while treatment can sometimes slow it down, there is no cure. Caity’s time is precious — and right now, every single moment with her family matters more than anything.

We are raising funds to help ease the financial burden they are carrying. Joel is no longer able to work given he is now required to care for Alfie and Caity. We want to support Caity, Joel, and little Alfie to focus on what truly matters: time together, creating memories, and surrounding Alfie with all the love in the world.
