A few days ago, Brittanni Jordan was the victim of a tragic incident of domestic violence. To protect her privacy and allow her space to heal, I will not go into details, but I can share that she is fighting for her life. My sister is at the hospital every day praying over her, holding her hand, speaking life into her, and believing that God will restore her daughter completely. Brittanni is a devoted mother to her young son, a little boy who has already suffered the loss of his father. Now, while Brittanni fights to stay with us, my sister Kimberly Edmond is caring for her grandson and staying by Brittanni’s bedside.

Kimberly works as a truck driver for Parcels and Packages. In her line of work, if she does not work, she does not receive pay. Right now, with her daughter in critical condition, she cannot safely or mentally get behind the wheel of a truck. She cannot leave her daughter. She cannot leave her grandson. Her focus, her mind, and her spirit are with Brittanni. I am praying every moment that my niece will open her eyes fully, speak again, smile again, and return home to raise her child.
