My name is Tara DeSane, and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my 19 year old niece, Brianna Goodman, who has been hit by one heartbreaking challenge after another. A short time ago, her father underwent a foot amputation due to severe health issues. It was an overwhelming situation, but thankfully her grandmother—who had been caring for both him and my niece—was there to help hold everything together.

Then, unexpectedly, her grandmother got very sick and passed away. Losing the woman who was the foundation of their home, their mother, and their emotional anchor has left my niece devastated and suddenly facing life on her own. With her father now moving into assisted living and no longer able to help, she is struggling to manage rent and basic living expenses while still trying to keep up with her part-time job and college coursework.

My niece is strong, hardworking, and doing everything she can, but she simply cannot carry all of this alone. I’m asking from the bottom of my heart for any support you can offer to help her stay stable during this painful transition.
