With a heavy heart, I share the news of my brother, Brandon Caballeros, passing after battling a medical condition that caused him to have seizures since 2018. From the moment Brandon came into this world, I was there by his side, and as he left us far too soon, I held his hand once again, whispering words of love and comfort. He was just 31 years old.

 

Brandon was more than just a son, brother, uncle or friend; He had a way of bringing joy into our lives, spreading laughter wherever he went.

 

One of Brandon's greatest gifts was his ability to bring smiles to the faces of those around him. Whether he was cracking jokes, sharing stories, or cheering on his beloved New Orleans Saints, he had a way of lighting up the room. He could turn even the most mundane moments into something special. One of my favorite memories is the time he played a prank on my sons, his young nephews. He hid their stuff all over the house, turning their afternoon into a full-blown scavenger hunt. His nephews thought he was the coolest uncle ever, and they were right.

 

His love for his family extended to his cat Star, often sharing adorable photos of her and her adventures, He also shared an unbreakable bond with his friends who he considered like family. You could always hear him laughing and trash-talking with them while they battled it out in online games. Brandon will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
