Brandon and Lexi are a devoted couple raising three young children—a seven-week-old baby and two-year-old twins. Their world was turned upside down when Lexi was hospitalized due to her gallbladder and pancreas, which has led to her fighting sepsis and necrotizing pancreatitis. As Lexi battles these health challenges, she’s been separated from her children, missing precious moments like the twins’ second birthday. The kids miss their mom deeply, and the absence has been so hard on them during these formative years.

Brandon, a dedicated nurse, has been by Lexi’s side every step of the way, using all his paid time off to support her during this crisis. He’s been stretched thin, trying to be everywhere at once—caring for Lexi in the hospital, supporting his children at home, and managing the daily responsibilities of a young family. With both parents out of work, the family is now facing mounting medical bills and the everyday expenses that come with caring for three little ones. Family members have stepped in to help—sitting with Lexi in the hospital so Brandon can take care of basic needs, and caring for the children while Brandon supports Lexi. Despite these efforts, the financial strain continues to grow, especially as Lexi will eventually need surgery for her pancreas due to the necrotizing pancreatitis once she is stable enough.

Brandon and Lexi have always been the first to offer help to others in need. Lexi is a loving, selfless mother who always puts her family first, and Brandon gives so much of himself to heal and help others as a nurse. As they navigate this incredibly difficult time, they are leaning on their faith and the support of their community. Any contribution, no matter the size, and every prayer, will make a meaningful difference for this loving family as they work toward healing and hope.
