Support for Claire and her Children

I am putting this fundraiser in place to help my sister Claire and her two children, 12 year old Boston and 10 year old Marley. Please join me in supporting them and lifting my sister from a tragic and overwhelming financial burden. For those who don't know, Claire isn't one to ever ask for help. Ever since we were young, Claire's found her way on her own. When she's on your team, she always carries far more than her weight and makes everybody better for her presence. If you're lucky enough to have her in your life, you know that she'll always stand up for you and for all that is right and fair in the world.

On Friday, October 6th, my sister and her children's lives changed forever. Mike Adams, her former partner in crime and the father of her children, passed away suddenly and tragically. Everybody who knew him has a fond story about Mike; colorful memories of a man who made the best of his life and whose hearty laugh, quick wit, and charisma brightened many days for family and friends. He will be so missed

Unfortunately, this loss also leaves Claire as a single mother who now faces an enormous financial burden. She no longer has the support of her co parent to help with bills and to share the responsibility of their beautiful children. Not only is she now the sole caregiver for her children and caretaker for her home, she is also facing some incredible expenses, including emergency medical bills for her children, looming family dental bills, and badly needed fixes to the family car.

My goal is to raise $15,000 to help get Claire back on her feet and ensure she has the support to deal with overwhelming bills that she would otherwise be unable to pay on her own. She and her family have a long road ahead of them in this emotional journey. Claire is a genuine and loving mom who deserves a hand and so, I ask for your help. Please help me clear the way for my sister so she can focus on the most important things - helping her children and herself as they forge a path forward during this incredibly trying time.
