Support for Bill Arsenty

It is with a heavy heart to share the news that Bill passed away this morning.

Thanks to all of you for your overwhelming generosity, texts, calls, donations, and other means of support since the accident, especially from many anonymous donors and folks who had never even met him. It is great to see how much Bill and his family are truly loved by so many.

In lieu of flowers, our family is asking for donations to help offset the continuing costs associated with Bill’s hospitalization and final arrangements. We are planning to have a celebration of life in Woodstock later this summer. Details to come.

Sadly, Bill is still unresponsive. Each day that passes without any response is upsetting, but we are hoping for a miracle. Please keep him in your prayers.

On May 14, 2023, in the early morning hours, my brother Bill got into a severe motorcycle accident. Sadly, Bill has not been conscious since the accident. He has been diagnosed with cerebral anoxia and assessment of his survival is tragically grim. Thursday, Bill began running a fever (which is worsening) on Friday morning. We are hoping for a miracle but are preparing for the worst.

His wife Jamie has been on the frontlines having to deal with most of the issues surrounding his accident, from healthcare decisions to insurance matters and all the difficult complications in-between. The financial burden from these matters will be cumbersome for her, so we're asking friends, relatives and anyone who loves them both and his family to help out wherever they can.

We ask that you not reach out to Jamie directly as she is dealing with a lot right now, but if you have any words or thoughts along with financial assistance, please leave them here. If you have any additional messages, please reach out to me (neilarsenty at gmail).
