Support for Bianca & Family

Three weeks ago, our beloved Bianca and Jade’s dad, Andrew, were involved in a horrific motorcycle accident. Tragically, Andrew succumbed to his injuries days after, and Bianca has been fighting for hers ever since.

She has spent the last three weeks in and out of the ICU, undergoing multiple emergency surgeries—including the removal of part of her skull to relieve brain swelling, a tracheotomy, and repairs to a broken wrist. Her condition has been critical, but she continues to fight every day.

To make things even more heartbreaking, Bianca is the mother of a beautiful 2½-year-old daughter, who now faces life without her father and with a mother in recovery from traumatic injuries.

Unfortunately, Bianca is uninsured. Despite the severity of her injuries, the hospital is preparing to discharge her soon due to lack of insurance coverage. We are hopeful that Medicare will be kicking in soon, to help cover the medical expenses. She will need extensive ongoing care at home—24/7 supervision, medical equipment, therapy, and help with even the most basic daily activities.

Her mom—my aunt, Laura—has taken leave from work to be by her daughter’s side and will soon switch to FMLA. But this is not a short-term situation. She will likely have to give up her job permanently to become her daughter’s full-time caregiver.

This GoFundMe is to help ease the unimaginable financial burden now facing this family:
