Bella is my beautiful 19-year-old niece who just welcomed her first child, baby Wrenlee. What should have been a joyful time quickly turned into a long, traumatic experience, as Bella faced many emergency surgeries after giving birth. She is now in the ICU, and her journey to recovery is far from over, with more surgeries ahead. Despite these challenges, Bella has always been fiercely independent—she worked so hard to buy her own car and has always taken pride in supporting herself, even paying for her own insurance without government assistance.

Right now, Bella cannot work for many months while she heals, and she is worried about how she will manage her car payments and mounting medical bills. To make things even harder, baby Wrenlee can’t stay with her mom in the ICU, so Bella’s family is staying in hotels nearby to keep the baby close. The costs of these hotel stays, along with daily expenses and medical bills, are adding up quickly.
