To Our Dear Friends and Family,
Shiela and I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the incredible outpouring of love, support, and prayers during this difficult time. The kindness and care we’ve received are beyond measure, and we feel truly surrounded by love.
Many of you have reached out asking how you can help with funeral costs, groceries, or anything else we may need. In response, we’ve set up a way to make donations for those who feel called to give. Please know that we are grateful for any form of support—whether it be financial, physical, emotional, or spiritual. Every gesture, prayer, and kind word means the world to us.
Our sweet Baby Sophia was a light in our lives—a little firefly. She loved to kick and dance to her favorite songs, laugh at the sounds of her siblings playing nearby, and was especially happy when her mama took her swimming. She had a fondness for banana ice cream, tacos, and the occasional strawberry pastry from our neighborhood donut shop.
Though our time with her was far too short, her memory lives on in our hearts and through her siblings—Sahara, Lily, MJ, Dominic, and Emma Marie. She will forever be a part of us. She may be gone from our arms, but she will never be gone from our hearts.
It’s often said that “everything happens for a reason” and that “God has a plan.” Even in our darkest days, we hold onto our faith, trusting that there is a divine purpose behind all things. We may not understand the “why” now, but one day, when we are reunited with our Heavenly Father, we believe the answers will be made clear.
From our entire family, thank you again for your love, support, and prayers. We are humbled and grateful.
With love and gratitude,
Mike and Shiela
