Support Baby Julia’s fight against AdenoVirus
Donation protected
On Wednesday, January 8th, 2024, Eric, Nikki, and big sister Camryn welcomed their beautiful sister/daughter, Julia James, into the world. What should have been a joyful time quickly turned into a heartbreaking ordeal when, just days later, on Friday, January 17th, baby Julia became unresponsive and was rushed to the hospital. She was later transferred to the NICU @ SickKids, where after many test and procedures she was diagnosed with AdenoVirus — a virus that to us is like the common cold but a serious infection that can be deadly to newborns, attacking vital organs and the brain requiring urgent care.
Julia’s fight for her life is just beginning. She will remain in the hospital for an unpredictable amount of time, with Eric and Nikki by her side every step of the way, while also trying to care for their 2-year-old daughter, Camryn, at home. At this moment, Eric is unable to return to work, and the family is facing overwhelming daily expenses during this incredibly challenging time.
We’re asking for your support to help alleviate the financial burden they are facing. Your generous donations will go directly to Eric and Nikki to cover the accumulating costs as they navigate this heartbreaking journey.
If you’re unable to contribute financially, please keep baby Julia in your thoughts and prayers. Every bit of support — whether through donations, prayers, or sharing this campaign — makes a difference as this family fights to bring their baby girl home.
Thank you for your love, generosity, and kindness during this difficult time.
