On this Saturday evening, our lives changed in an instant. Our baby Harold, just a few days old, suddenly stopped feeding, his tiny body was burning with fever, and his eyes took on a worrying color. Panic gripped us as parents — something was very wrong.
We rushed Harold to the nearest clinic, only to be referred immediately to the pediatric department of Bogodogo University Hospital Center in Ouagadougou. By God’s grace, he was admitted without delay.
The first two days were terrifying. Harold was in intensive care, fighting anemia, and every moment felt like a battle between fear and hope. As parents, we were torn: the joy of holding our newborn was overshadowed by the fear of losing him. But even in our darkest moments, we held tightly to our faith.
Today, Harold has been moved out of intensive care and is under observation. He is showing signs of improvement, but the road to recovery is far from over. He still needs continuous treatment, medications, and further tests.
We are reaching out humbly for your prayers and support. Your contribution, no matter the size, will help cover the cost of Harold’s urgent medical care and give him the chance to grow strong and healthy.
Every act of kindness brings hope to our little family. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with us in this difficult time.
With gratitude and hope,
