Support for Baby Apollo and Family

Having a baby should be a time of happiness and not a time of worry. But that is not the Case for Megan and Aaron. This family is an amazing part of their community in Lincoln City Oregon and did what they could to lift spirits of everyone around them through the pandemic. This included giveaways, projects designed for kids and an ongoing scavenger hunt that has brought many people together with their small home business ThornMeadow Glassworks.
Megan and Aaron were over the moon to announce their pregnancy at the end of 2020, only to end up on a roller coaster of emotions. Early on in the pregnancy they believed that they miscarried, but came to find out it was only one of the twins, the other was still healthy. Megan suffered through a rough pregnancy and went into early labor at 27 weeks. Apollo was born at Lincoln City’s local hospital and was quickly transported to the NICU at Oregon Health & Science University Hospital in Portland to receive the care he needs until at least mid-June.
Megan, Aaron and their two boys quickly followed only to find out there is no room at the Ronald McDonald House until April 31st. This family’s whole income is with their small, but amazing home business. The birth of Apollo should be nothing short of a blessing, but with the stress of providing for the family, staying at a local hotel, and the compiling medical bills, the pressure can become over whelming and feel impossible at times. This is one of those families that would drop everything to help a person out, they are deserving of all the love and support that we are able to share. I know we are all in trying times but any little bit helps, Please take a minute and consider donating this remarkable Family.
