I am Athena and Jaxon’s grandmother. On December 12, 2025, Athena and Jaxon Godding lost their mother, Alicia Holmberg, in a tragic and unexpected passing. No child should have to experience the heartbreak of losing a parent, and yet Athena and Jaxon are now facing this painful reality far too soon.

Their father is doing everything he can to care for them during this unimaginable time. He is currently without work and navigating the overwhelming emotional, financial, and practical challenges of raising two children on his own while grieving the loss of their mother.

We are coming together as a community to support this family when they need it most.
