Ashlynn's daughter was unexpectedly born premature at just 30 weeks. At their first high risk appointment they received a routine ultrasound, Ashlynn was immediately admitted to the hospital and put on bed rest until she delivered via c section the very next morning. The family is now navigating the challenges of caring for a premature baby, facing uncertainty and emotional stress every day.
The hospital where Ashlynn delivered is over an hour away from home, which means frequent travel and mounting expenses. Their dog has had to be boarded because, while they are grateful to have a spot at the Ronald McDonald house, pets are not allowed. These fees are adding up as they continue to stay close to their daughter. Ashlynn is suddenly unable to work, and her daughter's father is a full-time student doing everything he can to provide for the family during this incredibly hard time. Any help is deeply appreciated and will go directly toward travel, pet boarding, and essential living expenses while they focus on their daughter's care.
Ashlynn and her family feel blessed to have received the diagnosis when they did, and they are cherishing every day as much as possible while trying to keep their heads up. They appreciate everyone who has taken time to be there for them now and in the future. Your support means the world to them as they navigate this journey.
