Hi everyone, and thank you for being here.
My name is Megan Dean, and I am a friend of the Baxter family. I am helping create this GoFundMe on behalf of Ashley’s mother, Lynn, to support Ashley’s two very young boys during this heartbreaking time.
My beautiful friend, Ashley Baxter, tragically passed away at just 36 years old after an aggressive form of breast cancer. Her loss has left an unimaginable void in the lives of everyone who knew her—especially her two young boys, Charles and Conrad, and her loving husband, Trevor.
I met Ashley through the Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Organization, where I was given the honor and duty to design a special look for her to wear on the night of their biggest fundraiser in October- just shy of two months ago. What began as a creative collaboration quickly grew into a deep and meaningful friendship.
In the intimate setting of fittings—talking about what she loved, what brought her joy, her favorite colors, and help her try things on—I had the privilege of seeing Ashley in her most vulnerable and genuine moments. She was pure joy to be around. Being a part of that process with her allowed us to grow remarkably close. It was such an honor to know her and I can tell you her two little boys were absolutely her everything.
I am helping Lynn put this GoFundMe together for Ashley’s boys, who were truly her whole world. Right now, they are facing more than any family should ever have to bear.
Ashley’s passing has not only brought tremendous emotional pain, but it has also placed a heavy stress on her family as they now face the challenge of rebuilding their lives without her. The funds raised will go directly toward her little boys’ daily living expenses and holiday needs, providing some stability as they navigate this unimaginable transition.
We are asking for support to help ease the stress during this heartbreaking chapter. Any amount—big or small—will make a meaningful difference as her family navigates the weeks, holidays, and months ahead without their beloved Ashley.
Thank you for helping honor her memory and for supporting the precious boys she loved beyond measure.
God bless you all.
