I’m writing this on behalf of my best friend, Anna, and her children, because right now she shouldn’t have to find the words herself.

During what was supposed to be a happy family vacation, tragedy struck in the most unimaginable way. While at the beach with their children, her husband was suddenly and tragically taken from them. In an instant, her world, and her children’s world, was shattered.

She is now a single mom, grieving the love of her life while trying to hold everything together for her kids, including a baby. She is navigating profound loss, shock, and heartbreak, all while facing the very real weight of everyday responsibilities and expenses.

This fundraiser is to help support her and the children as they try to survive this devastating season. Funds will go toward living expenses, childcare, and giving her the space to grieve without the immediate fear of how she will keep going financially.

If you know her, you know how deeply she loved Vlad and how much she loves her family and how hard it is for her to ask for help. Right now, she needs community more than ever.
