Support for Angelo Grumeretz & his Children

On April 4th, 2022, my wonderful cousin Angelo Grumeretz lost his wife and forever sweetheart, Amanda Grumeretz (36). Amanda passed away after a long, brave fight with Metastatic Breast Cancer, leaving behind Angelo and their two precious children, Ariella Rae & Angelo Jerome.

On behalf of both of Amanda’s families (the Polendo’s and the Grumeretz’s), we want to thank you to all who attended her funeral and for supporting them during the difficult time they have endured. Through the support of many of you, we were able to provide fundraising before for Amanda's medical care and support for their family before she passed away. And now, it is crucial that those who love this family come together to help Angelo meet his economic challenges during this period of mourning and uncertainty. Angelo naturally feels very uncomfortable about having another fundraiser; however, financial burdens are real, and we know that he will be responsible for any and all donations. If we meet our fundraising goal, Angelo will be able to pay for Amanda’s extensive medical bills that their insurance did not cover, his lost income, childcare, mortgage payments, and day-to-day living expenses that have mounted since her illness began in 2019.

I cannot imagine how Angelo is putting one foot in front of the other and modeling faith and love for his children after such a loss, so if we can donate to help him care for his young children as they all grieve, he will truly know kindness and giving in its truest form. It is LOVE, and if you knew Amanda, she was just that. Please consider helping.
