Support Jeanette & Pedro for Angelina Isabell

February 20th, when she was one week old, our daughter stopped breathing and went into cardiac arrest. She spent a week on life support, has had 2 surgeries and spent weeks fighting like hell for her life. 

After 93 days in a hospital, Angelina was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea caused by tracheomalacia. Her trachea is collapsing, causing her heart rate to drop and she stops breathing. The only treatment for this has been our biggest nightmare through all of this. She will have to have a tracheostomy which will have to be hooked up to a ventilator in order to go home.

Angelina is having surgery today (5/27/20) for the tracheostomy. We have done everything in our power to avoid this. After 3.5 months, 2 hospitals and hours of research, this is our only option.

Thank you to everyone who has been there for us, reached out through all of this and everyone who has been praying for her. So many have asked how they can help - since I (Jeanette) am unable to go back to work for now, we will need help covering the costs of our basic needs, especially housing (rent).

Angelina still has a long road ahead with therapies and round the clock home healthcare for now. But she is on the road to recovery.  Your prayers and support are greatly appreciated.
